These sheds were re-roofed in aluminium sheeting by QIC for Watpac Besix. The Townsville terminal has a storage capacity of around 760,000 tonnes of raw sugar. The Townsville terminal is owned by Sugar Terminals Limited (STL) and is managed exclusively by QSL under an operating arrangement.
