Gallipoli Barracks Enoggera is located northwest of the Brisbane CBD in the suburb
of Enoggera. The site is approximately 200 hectares of a
600 hectare Commonwealth Land Reserve. The
Commonwealth acquired the land for military use in
1908 for use as a training camp and rifle/artillery range.
It has been a major military Defence establishment from
1960 onwards.
